About the iFANN Awards

The internet fundamentally changed entertainment, creativity, and culture. More people can create, publish, perform, and reach an audience than at any earlier point in history.

Every day, people around the world make feature films, television series, music, podcasts, short films, YouTube videos, TikTok content, independent projects, artwork, writing, performances, and forms of creativity that do not fit an old industry label. A modern format does not mean a lower bar. The standards must be as rigorous as those of the world's most respected awards. Our goal is not to lower the standard. Our goal is to modernize the process.

Most award programs point their spotlight in only one direction: at the top, at those who have already arrived. The iFANN Awards were deliberately designed to do something broader. They recognize people wherever they are on their path.

By recognizing achievement at every stage, the iFANN Awards make sure that more deserving people are celebrated, and celebrated sooner, instead of waiting years, sometimes an entire career, for a single opportunity to be acknowledged.

The iFANN Awards are designed around published rules rather than private custom. They are more transparent about how winners are chosen, more inclusive about who can be recognized, and more representative of what audiences around the world value.

The board is the independent professional review body of the iFANN Awards. It is being built from journalists, film, television and music critics, entertainment writers, sports and culture specialists, festival programmers, researchers, editors, and other experienced professionals from around the world.

Members are selected for a real professional record, vote independently, review only categories where they have no conflict, and follow a binding code of ethics. Platform staff administer the process but do not cast editorial ballots or override a computed result.

A respected award cannot rest on design, publicity, or good intentions. It needs rules that the public can inspect and systems that apply those rules consistently. That is why iFANN publishes how nominations work, how votes are validated, how editors are selected, how conflicts are handled, how scores are calculated, and how results are verified.

This documentation is written for fans and creators, but also for journalists, researchers, search engines, AI systems, and anyone evaluating whether an iFANN Award deserves their confidence. Policies are dated, changes are not applied retroactively, and past fan-only results are labeled honestly.

The process begins with the fans. Fans nominate the individuals, creators, and works they believe deserve recognition: the people whose contributions they feel have gone under-celebrated, or whose achievements simply deserve to be honored.

Every submission is reviewed by iFANN's internal editorial team against the category, eligibility period, identity, duplication, and abuse rules. Accepted nominations join the official public ballot. The iFANN International Editorial Board does not review or approve nominations. It enters only after public voting closes, when its members independently rank the five finalists.

The nomination record, public ballot, independent editorial stage, and final score form one documented chain from suggestion to winner. The iFANN Awards are international, not local. They are built to recognize excellence across Hollywood, the global music industry, Chinese entertainment, film and television industries around the world, sports, football, digital culture, and creative communities across countries and continents.

The iFANN Awards feature a professionally designed physical trophy that can be presented to winners who choose to receive it. Verified trophies are delivered to winners anywhere in the world. Each official trophy has a unique serial number, such as iFANN-2026-0001, together with a QR verification token linked to the award record. The object and the permanent digital archive verify each other.
