Our selection philosophy
The process begins with the fans. Fans nominate the names they believe deserve recognition, and our panel of journalists, critics, and cultural experts reviews each nomination to confirm it fits the spirit and standards of the award.
Winners are then decided the way every iFANN Award is decided: fan votes account for 60% of the result, and the professional panel accounts for the remaining 40%. Here the weight sits on genuine, lasting impact and the depth of fan appreciation, not on current fame or follower counts.
Why it matters
Too many influential people slip quietly out of public attention, even after defining their field. Careers that changed music, film, sport, or culture can fade from the conversation simply because the industry moved on.

What a Legacy Spotlight honor includes
