Spider-Man (MCU) Collection
In Spider-Man: Homecoming, fifteen-year-old Peter Parker from Queens, New York, is trying to manage being a high school student alongside his superhero life as Spider-Man. After a significant debut in Captain America: Civil War, Peter is eager to prove himself to Tony Stark and become a full Avenger. He returns to his Aunt May and high school, but his life is anything but typical. Peter attends the Midtown School of Science and Technology, where he navigates the usual teen dramas of classes, friends, and crushes. His best friend, Ned Leeds, discovers Peter's secret and becomes his enthusiastic sidekick. Peter also has a crush on Liz Allan, a fellow student, and often deals with the teasing of his wealthy classmate, Flash Thompson.
While trying to impress Tony Stark by handling local crime, Peter stumbles upon criminals using advanced, salvaged alien technology. These weapons come from Adrian Toomes, a salvage operator whose business was destroyed by a government agency linked to Stark Industries. Toomes, now calling himself the Vulture, uses this technology to outfit himself and his crew with flying suits and weapons. Peter's efforts to stop Toomes put him in direct conflict with the Vulture. Tony Stark, worried about Peter's recklessness, takes away the advanced suit, telling Peter to just be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. This forces Peter to rely on his own skills and basic suit to face the Vulture.

Peter Parker, a bright fifteen-year-old living in Queens with his Aunt May, is still buzzing from his experience with the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War. He's eager to prove himself as a superhero to his mentor, Tony Stark, but Stark insists he focus on being a "friendly neighborhood Spider-Man." Peter returns to his sophomore year at the Midtown School of Science and Technology, where he tries to balance school life, his crush on classmate Liz Allan, and his best friend Ned Leeds, who accidentally discovers Peter's secret identity and becomes his enthusiastic "guy in the chair."
Meanwhile, Adrian Toomes, a former salvage worker whose business was shut down by the Department of Damage Control (a Stark-affiliated agency), has begun illegally salvaging and selling advanced alien technology. He and his crew, including Jackson Brice and Phineas Mason, have created powerful suits that allow them to fly and wield dangerous weapons. Toomes, now operating as the Vulture, is supplying these weapons to criminals, creating a growing threat that Peter feels compelled to stop, despite Stark's warnings to stay away from such dangerous operations.
Peter's attempts to intercept Toomes' illegal arms deals lead him to confront the Vulture and his associates. During one such encounter, Peter tries to stop Brice from selling weapons on a ferry. The situation escalates, and Tony Stark, along with Happy Hogan, intervenes to prevent a catastrophe. Disappointed by Peter's recklessness and the advanced weaponry he's facing, Stark confiscates the high-tech Spider-Man suit he provided. This forces Peter to go back to his homemade suit and rely on his own abilities and quick thinking.
Undeterred, Peter continues to investigate Toomes, suspecting he's planning a larger operation. He learns that Toomes' crew is working on modifying alien weaponry. His investigation takes a personal turn when he discovers that Liz Allan, the girl he likes and who has agreed to be his date for the Homecoming dance, is Adrian Toomes' daughter. This revelation comes just as Toomes is planning his biggest heist yet: stealing advanced technology from a Stark Industries cargo plane. Peter decides he must confront the Vulture, even if it means missing the Homecoming dance and facing Toomes without Stark's advanced gear.
Peter confronts Toomes on the cargo plane. A fierce battle ensues, during which the Vulture's wings are damaged, causing the plane to crash. Peter manages to prevent the plane from hitting populated areas, steering it to crash on a beach. He then confronts Toomes in a final showdown. Despite the danger posed by unstable Chitauri technology, Peter manages to subdue Toomes and saves his life from an explosion. He leaves Toomes for the authorities, and Toomes' daughter Liz moves away with her mother following his arrest.
