Overview
Sixteen years prior to the events of this film, a masked ninja unleashed the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox upon the Hidden Leaf Village. The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and his wife Kushina Uzumaki made the ultimate sacrifice to seal the beast inside their newborn son, Naruto Uzumaki. While peace seemed restored for a time, that tranquility shattered when Tobi, the man behind the original attack, orchestrated a new assault on the village with the goal of trapping the world in an endless illusion.
