Masayasu Sagisu, a former producer at Studio Eiken, has died. He was known for his work on Showa-era classics like "Tetsujin 28-go" (Gigantor) and "8 Man."


Mitsuteru Yokoyama’s 1956 manga Tetsujin 28-go, known internationally as Gigantor, introduced a world to the concept of a young boy hero controlling a colossal robot.
