Records
Yuval Ne'eman's achievements place him among the most important physicists of his generation. His independent discovery of the Eightfold Way, which he developed alongside Murray Gell-Mann, is a cornerstone of modern particle physics. He was the first Israeli to make such a fundamental contribution to theoretical physics, and his work opened the door for many others. His leadership at Tel Aviv University and in government helped shape Israel's scientific landscape. He was a true pioneer.
