Waylon Jennings was a transformative figure in country music, pioneering the outlaw movement that reshaped the genre. He was part of the first platinum-selling country album, Wanted! The Outlaws, and his solo album Ol' Waylon became the first platinum solo country album. He won multiple Grammys and CMA awards, and his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001 recognized his lasting impact.
