Wang Yi

Wang Yi's career is measured in diplomatic milestones rather than trophies. He is the first Chinese diplomat in decades to sit on the Politburo Standing Committee, a rare achievement for a career foreign service officer. He has served as Foreign Minister, State Councilor, and Director of the Central Committee Foreign Affairs Commission Office, and he remains one of the most recognized political figures in the world. His legacy is defined by statecraft, not celebrity.
