Lobanovskyi's record of 30 trophies by 2000 made him the most decorated manager of the 20th century. He is the only coach to win a major European competition twice with an Eastern European club, and one of only two to win the Cup Winners' Cup twice with the same team. His 1975 Dynamo side posted an 88.88% win rate in the Cup Winners' Cup, a record that stood for 45 years. He also coached three Ballon d'Or winners, an unmatched feat. In Ukraine, he is ranked the sixth greatest Ukrainian in history by popular vote.
