Uthman ibn Sa'id al-Asadi

Uthman ibn Sa'id's greatest accolade is the enduring trust placed in him by the Shia community. He was chosen by the eleventh Imam to serve as a wakil, and after the Imam's death, he was recognized as the first deputy of the hidden twelfth Imam. This role, which he held until his death, established the template for the three deputies who followed.
