Trunks

Trunks is the firstborn child of Vegeta and Bulma, born in Age 766 in the main timeline. His birth came after the defeat of Frieza, during a period of relative peace on Earth. In an alternate future timeline, a different Trunks grew up in a world ravaged by Androids 17 and 18, who murdered most of the Z Fighters. This Future Trunks was trained by a surviving Son Gohan, who became his mentor and older brother figure. After Gohan's death at the hands of the Androids, Trunks inherited his master's sword and resolve. He eventually activated his latent Saiyan powers, achieving Super Saiyan transformation through grief and determination. After training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, he fights in the Cell Games, where he is killed by Cell in the main timeline but survives in his own after helping Gohan defeat the villain. Years later, in Dragon Ball Super, Future Trunks returns when a new enemy, Goku Black, devastates his world. With help from the present-timeline heroes, he unlocks a unique transformation called Super Saiyan Rage and ultimately seals Zamasu away with the Super Dragon Balls. The present-timeline Trunks grows up alongside Goten, learning fusion to become Gotenks.
