The Saturdays achieved a number of notable milestones during their seven-year career. They were the first UK girl group to have thirteen top-ten singles on the UK Singles Chart without ever having a number-one album, until What About Us became their first chart-topper in 2012. That single also set a Guinness World Record as the fastest-selling digital single by a UK girl group, selling 114,000 copies in its first week. The group sold over five million records in the UK and Ireland combined. Their YouTube channel has amassed over 283 million total views. They were also the first girl group to headline BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in 2012.

AwardsThe Saturdays won ten awards over their career, including two Popjustice £20 Music Prizes for Best British Pop Single (2009 for Up and 2011 for Higher). They were named Best Group at the Attitude Magazine Awards, BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, Capital FM Awards, 4Music Video Honours, BT Digital Music Awards, and Virgin Media Music Awards. They also won Best Single at the Digital Spy Reader Awards for What About Us and Band of the Year at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards.
