The Hangover

Three groomsmen wake up in Las Vegas with no memory of the previous night's bachelor party and must retrace their steps to find their missing groom-to-be before his wedding.

Phil Wenneck, Stu Price, and Alan Garner travel to Vegas for Doug Billings' bachelor party. They check into the exclusive Caesars Palace, intending a wild but memorable night. The next morning, they awaken in their trashed hotel suite with no recollection of how they got there. To their horror, Doug is nowhere to be found. The situation escalates as they discover a tiger in their bathroom, a baby in their closet, and a police cruiser in the middle of the suite.

As the three friends attempt to piece together the events of the previous night, they embark on a chaotic journey through Las Vegas. Their search for Doug leads them to a series of increasingly bizarre encounters, including a furious gangster and a provocative escort who provides crucial information. Stu, a dentist, discovers he inexplicably married the escort during their blackout, a fact he desperately needs to conceal from his controlling fiancée. They choose the luxurious Caesars Palace as their base of operations, with the intention of having one last wild night before Doug ties the knot. Phil, ever the pragmatist, tries to keep things somewhat in check, while Stu is more hesitant, especially given his controlling fiancée back home. Alan, however, seems to be on a mission to embrace the chaos.

The morning after dawns with a brutal reality. The penthouse suite is a disaster zone – a trashed testament to an epic night. But the real shock comes when they realize Doug is missing. Their attempts to retrace their steps from the night before are completely thwarted by their collective amnesia. The only clues they have are the surreal remnants of their party: a tiger in the bathroom, a baby in the closet, and a police car inexplicably parked in their suite. This sets off a frantic, bizarre quest to find Doug before his wedding, which is set for that very afternoon.

Their search takes them through the underbelly of Las Vegas, leading to a series of increasingly absurd and dangerous encounters. They cross paths with Mr. Chow, a volatile and unpredictable gangster who was apparently involved in their night's activities. They also meet Jade, a stripper who Stu, much to his horror, discovers he married during their blackout – a fact he must hide from his fiancée. The friends must navigate encounters with a vengeful pimp, retrieve a stolen necklace belonging to a prominent gangster, and deal with the fallout of their wild night, all while trying to avoid drawing more attention to themselves. Their investigation involves visiting a pawn shop, a hospital, and various other locations where they believe they might have left clues to Doug's whereabouts, all while the clock ticks down to the wedding.[edit]
