The Blues Brothers have achieved remarkable success for a comedy-music act. Their debut album Briefcase Full of Blues reached number one on the Billboard 200 and sold over two million copies. They remain the most successful blues revue act in history, with a career spanning over four decades. The band has been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame, and their 1980 film was preserved in the National Film Registry. Dan Aykroyd received the Order of Canada for his contributions to entertainment, which includes his work with the Blues Brothers. The group holds a Guinness World Record for the most cars destroyed in a single film, with 103 cars in Blues Brothers 2000.
