Born in Harbin, a city in northeastern China known for its harsh winters and distinct culture, Sun Rui grew up developing an early interest in performance arts. Her path to stardom began with intensive preparation in dance and vocals. Before joining any professional group, she honed her skills through countless hours of practice that would later define her powerful stage presence. The competitive nature of the Chinese idol market meant that only those with exceptional talent and dedication could advance, and Sun Rui quickly distinguished herself during these formative years. By the time she was selected for auditions, she had already built a reputation for discipline and artistic potential that set her apart from other candidates. [edit]
