Records
Sulak Sivaraksa's accolades reflect a lifetime of fearless advocacy. The Right Livelihood Award in 1995 put him on the global stage, and the UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh Prize in 2001 recognized his tireless work for tolerance. The Fukuoka Asian Culture Prize in 2004 celebrated his intellectual contributions, and Thailand's National Artist designation in 2010 honored his literary legacy. He has also received honorary doctorates from Thammasat, Khon Kaen, and Chulalongkorn universities, and served as a visiting professor at UC Berkeley and Cornell.
