Run Run Shaw's achievements are monumental. He built one of the largest film studios in Asia, producing over 1,000 films that defined the kung fu genre. His television network, TVB, dominated Hong Kong airwaves for decades, launching the careers of countless stars. His philanthropy funded over 6,000 construction projects, with more than 5,000 buildings bearing his name. He also established the Shaw Prize, often called Asia's Nobel, which continues to honor scientific excellence.
