Rafic Hariri's legacy is marked by his remarkable journey from a fruit farmer's son to a billionaire businessman and two-time Prime Minister. He is credited with brokering the Taif Agreement that ended Lebanon's civil war and with rebuilding Beirut's central district through Solidere. His assassination in 2005 sparked the Cedar Revolution, leading to Syria's withdrawal and reshaping Lebanese politics.
