Peso Pluma has achieved several historic firsts in Latin music. In 2023, his collaboration "Ella Baila Sola" became the first regional Mexican song to reach the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and the first Mexican song to hit number one on the Billboard Global 200. He is Mexico's most streamed artist on Spotify, with over 10 million monthly listeners. His album Génesis won a Grammy, and he has placed three consecutive albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. These accomplishments have cemented his role as a pioneer in the global expansion of corridos tumbados.
