Records
Mustapha Hadji's crowning achievement came in 1997 when he was named CAF African Footballer of the Year, a historic honor for Moroccan football. He is widely regarded as one of the finest African players of the 1990s, ranked 50th greatest African player of all time by expert Ed Dove. His performances at the 1998 World Cup, where he scored a memorable goal against Norway and helped Morocco reach the Round of 16, cemented his legacy.
