The Survivalist

A year and a half after civilization collapsed from a viral outbreak, the world has devolved into a brutal struggle for survival. The Survivalist places former FBI agent Ben in this fractured landscape, where he must protect a young woman named Sarah who holds the key to humanity's future: immunity to the disease that wiped out billions. Directed by Jon Keeyes, the film stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers as the weary protector and John Malkovich as Aaron Ramsey, the terrifying leader of a gang hunting Sarah down. The production leans heavily into action and science fiction thrills, blending clinical violence with moments of absurdity as characters navigate a world stripped of order.[edit]
