Mizkif

Matthew Rinaudo, known as Mizkif, is an American Twitch streamer and YouTuber who has built a career around relaxed, funny, and unscripted content. Born February 14, 1995, in Chesapeake, Virginia, he co-founded the gaming organization One True King in 2019, helping shape a collaborative hub for streamers. His signature style, long-form Just Chatting sessions, reaction videos, and variety gaming, earned him the Best Just Chatting Streamer award at the 2021 Streamer Awards. With over 1.9 million followers on Twitch and a million subscribers on YouTube, Mizkif remains a central figure in the Austin streaming scene, known for his self-deprecating humor and tight-knit community. He is a co-owner of OTK and continues to stream regularly, focusing on a mix of gaming, reaction content, and IRL streams. His content is defined by long-form, unscripted conversations where he reacts to videos, chats with viewers, and riffs off other streamers.[edit]

Mizkif grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia, in a standard suburban household in the Hampton Roads area. He attended local public schools and later enrolled in college, but he found the traditional path unfulfilling and left before graduating. He has been open about his struggles with mental health, including anxiety and depression, which he sometimes discusses on stream. Before streaming, he worked a series of odd jobs, including behind the counter at a movie theater and as a delivery driver, to make ends meet.

His entry into content creation started in the mid-2010s as a fan of the Twitch community. He began streaming small-time variety content, but his big break came when he became a moderator for popular streamer Greekgodx. That connection introduced him to the wider circle of Austin-based streamers, including Asmongold and Esfand. In 2018, he made the pivotal decision to move to Austin, Texas, to be closer to this growing hub. He roomed with Esfand, networked heavily, and honed his improv-heavy, conversational style by experimenting with what resonated with viewers. Those early years of grinding, working odd jobs, building connections, and figuring out his on-camera persona, laid the foundation for everything that followed.[edit]

Mizkif's career took off in 2019 when he co-founded One True King (OTK) alongside Asmongold, Esfand, and others. The organization quickly grew into a major force, hosting events like the OTK Network and massive charity marathons such as OTK Games Done Slow, which raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for causes like Save the Children and The Trevor Project.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, his channel exploded as viewers flocked to his laid-back Just Chatting streams. In December 2021, he won Best Just Chatting Streamer at the inaugural Streamer Awards, a milestone that cemented his influence in the category. Late 2022 brought a major controversy involving allegations about his handling of a sexual assault situation involving another streamer. He temporarily stepped away from OTK and streaming, returning in early 2023 after an investigation cleared him of the most serious charges. Since then, he has rebuilt his schedule, focusing on a mix of gaming, reaction content, and IRL streams. As of 2026, he remains a core OTK member and co-owner, streaming regularly and participating in group charity events. He has been experimenting with more IRL content and talk-show style streams.[edit]

Mizkif's brand is the lazy, relatable best friend. He often streams from a messy room, wears comfortable hoodies, and maintains a no-makeup, no-filter aesthetic. The media generally portrays him as a leading figure in the Just Chatting revolution on Twitch and a savvy community builder, though his controversies have also drawn coverage from outlets like Kotaku and Dexerto. His fanbase, often called the Mizkif Army or simply Chat, is known for spamming emotes and memes tied to his inside jokes. On Twitter/X, he posts memes, reacts to drama, and promotes streams with a sarcastic, self-aware tone. Audiences connect with his authenticity and self-deprecating humor, which makes him feel like a friend hanging out rather than a polished performer. He is known for his ability to riff off chat and other streamers.[edit]

Mizkif's community, known as Mizkifians, operates less like a passive audience and more like a decentralized financial firm with a chaotic boardroom. The central nervous system is his massive Discord server, where over 40,000 active members coordinate chat pushes and engage in high-stakes investment games that blur the line between meme culture and market speculation. This tribe defends its leader with aggressive loyalty during feuds, turning personal dramas into viral spectacles that dominate Reddit threads and stream highlights. They treat his self-branded "$1,000,000 Investment Firm" not just as a joke, but as a shared mythology where every chat interaction becomes a potential trade. While this digital warfare defines their modern identity, iFANN has evaluated the global standing of this specific cultural phenomenon. According to the August 2026 evaluation by the iFANN Global Fame Engine, Mizkif is currently EVALUATED_UNRANKED, holding no placement in the published Global Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list. This absence from the official rankings does not diminish the intensity of his local influence; it simply reflects how his fame is concentrated within specific streaming ecosystems rather than broad general celebrity metrics. Despite the lack of a numerical rank, the sheer volume of engagement during his legal battles and ad wars proves that his reach remains potent. The Mizkifian fanbase continues to drive viewership through coordinated efforts, ensuring that even without a global number, their impact on the streaming landscape is undeniable.[edit]

Matthew Rinaudo built his username by blending the word miscellaneous with his childhood nickname Mischief, creating a moniker that stuck through years of evolution. He stands approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and often streams from a messy room, an aesthetic choice that became a core part of his brand. Before his solo rise, he served as a moderator for Greekgodx and now runs a YouTube clips channel boasting around 500,000 subscribers. His musical output remains a fun side project rather than a serious career pivot, while his proficiency in World of Warcraft keeps him close to peers like Asmongold during raids. Chat frequently spams "Mizkif W" or "Mizkif L" based on his latest antics, a ritual that evolved into the legendary "MizkifCHAT INVESTS" phenomenon on Kick. Fans collectively invest virtual currency with real-world stakes during these sessions, turning simple gameplay into tens of thousands of views per event. The most defining chapter of recent lore involves the October 2025 defamation lawsuit against Emiru and Asmongold. This conflict escalated into a public spectacle when Mizkif purchased ads directly on Asmongold's YouTube channel in July 2026 to counter allegations. The saga culminated in the release of "Emiru Lied, Part 1" in July 2026, presenting evidence that fueled a massive online debate about reputation and digital warfare among streamers.[edit]

Mizkif keeps his family life relatively private. He has mentioned having a mother and father who support his career, but he rarely shares their names or details on stream. He has a younger brother named Michael, who has made brief appearances in his content. He does not have any children. He lives in Austin, Texas, in a home he owns, which he has shown on stream. He has a cat named Mochi, who occasionally wanders into his broadcasts. Mizkif has described his upbringing as normal and supportive, though he has not shared extensive family stories publicly. He has a close friendship with fellow OTK members, particularly Esfand and Asmongold, who are like family to him.[edit]

Mizkif is closely associated with his OTK co-founders Asmongold and Esfand, both close friends and frequent collaborators. He was formerly in a public relationship with streamer Maya Higa. His early career was boosted by Greekgodx, who mentored him. Within OTK, he regularly streams with Emiru and Tectone.[edit]

Mizkif was in a public, on-and-off romantic relationship with streamer and conservationist Maya Higa from around 2019 to 2021. The relationship was a major topic of his streams, with playful on-stream interactions. They ended amicably and remain friends and collaborators. As of 2026, Mizkif is publicly single and has not confirmed any new romantic partner. He occasionally jokes about dating on stream but keeps his current romantic life private.[edit]

Per iFANN's editorial analysis, Mizkif's net worth stands at $2 Million as of 2026, with estimates ranging from $1.5 million to $3 million. His revenue streams are diverse, pulling in between $20,000 and $50,000 monthly from Twitch subscriptions, bits, and donations. YouTube ad revenue from his main channel and clips channel provides a steady supplement to these earnings. Strategic sponsorship deals with major brands like GFuel, NordVPN, Razer, and Secretlab further bolster his income. As a co-founder and owner of One True King, he receives a share of the organization's revenue generated from sponsorships, merchandise sales, and event income. He also sells his own branded merchandise through the OTK store. Ownership of a home in Austin, Texas, which he has showcased on stream, marks his physical assets alongside his digital empire. His net worth has grown steadily since his return to full-time streaming in 2023, though the controversy in 2022 temporarily slowed his earnings trajectory.[edit]

Mizkif won the Best Just Chatting Streamer award at the 2021 Streamer Awards, recognizing his influence in the Just Chatting category on Twitch.[edit]
