Esfand

Tim Esfandiari, known online as Esfand, is an American Twitch streamer and YouTuber. He's the co-founder and co-owner of One True King (OTK), a gaming organization that has become a major force in the streaming world. Esfand's streams mix competitive gaming, sports talk, and roleplay, and he's especially known for his deep ties to World of Warcraft and his energetic personality.

In 2024, he won Best Roleplay Streamer at the Streamer Awards, and in October 2025 he joined Red Bull's roster of streamers, cementing his status as a top-tier content creator. Beyond streaming, he's a serial entrepreneur, with stakes in Starforge Systems, Mythic Talent, and Mad Mushroom. He continues to be a leading voice in the MMO and roleplay communities, with a loyal fanbase that tunes in for his sharp wit and genuine takes. [edit]

Esfand's path to streaming started on the football field, not in front of a camera. He grew up in the United States with a passion for American football, playing the sport seriously through his college years. That athletic background would later shape his streaming career in unexpected ways.

His pivot to content creation came through World of Warcraft. He became a prominent figure in the WoW community early on, even before the release of Classic WoW, earning the unofficial title of "face of Classic WoW." He was creating content and building an audience before the game's official launch, positioning himself as a key voice in that community. To bridge his two interests, he started streaming Madden NFL, using the game to connect his football knowledge with his growing gaming audience. That blend of sports and gaming set him apart from other streamers of his era. [edit]

Esfand's rise on Twitch hit a speed bump in May 2019 when he and fellow streamer Mizkif were temporarily banned after an incident at PAX East. Both returned quickly, and the ban did little to slow his momentum. In 2020, he co-founded One True King (OTK), an organization that blends competitive gaming with comedy and has grown into one of the most prominent creator groups in streaming.

His roleplay streams, particularly in GTA RP, became a signature part of his channel, earning him the Best Roleplay Streamer award at the 2024 Streamer Awards. In April 2023, he hosted the first-ever pro football draft show streamed live on Twitch, produced by Sportfive, with partners like SimpliSafe and Starforge Systems. That event showcased his unique crossover appeal.

In October 2025, Esfand joined Red Bull's roster of streamers, announced during TwitchCon. His Red Bull profile highlights his journey "from college football hopeful to top roleplay streamer on Twitch." That same year, he participated in a pre-launch Q&A with Ashes of Creation lead developer Steven Sharif, solidifying his position as a key figure in the MMO community. He continues to expand his business ventures, including Starforge Systems, Mythic Talent, and Mad Mushroom. [edit]

Esfand is known for his energetic personality and sharp wit, which come through in every stream. His content blends competitive gaming with comedy, and his roleplay streams in GTA RP and other immersive games have become a defining part of his brand. He's often described as the "unofficial face of Classic WoW," a title that reflects his deep roots in that community.

His social media voice is casual and sports-oriented, frequently referencing his football background and his entrepreneurial ventures. He's seen as both a top entertainer and a savvy businessman, and fans appreciate his authenticity. He doesn't have an official fandom name, but his community is loyal and engaged, tuning in for his variety streams across MMOs, sports games, and roleplay. [edit]

Esfand, the Twitch streamer and co-founder of One True King, does not currently hold a placement in the iFANN Global Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list. As of August 2026, the Global Fame Engine has evaluated his profile but left him unranked, a status that reflects the sheer volume of personalities it tracks rather than any judgment on his career. His fame, while substantial within the streaming world, has not yet translated into a position on these published rankings.

His fanbase, however, is a different story. There is no formal, officially recognized name for Esfand's community; they are simply known as "Esfand's chat" or "the community." This lack of a codified moniker is notable for a streamer of his stature, but it has not hindered the group's organization or impact. Surpassing one million Twitch followers in January 2022, his fans are deeply integrated into the broader OTK network, collaborating on events and charity drives. They contributed to the $140,000 raised during OTK's 2023 Lift-a-thon and have supported his ventures, including Starforge Systems and Mythic Talent. His community also rallied around his milestone celebrations and his crossover events, such as hosting the first pro football draft show streamed live on Twitch in April 2023. While unnamed, Esfand's fanbase remains a formidable and active force in the streaming landscape.[edit]

Esfand's path to streaming was "unexpected" even to himself, as he was originally a college football hopeful. He was a content creator for Classic WoW before the game's official release, giving him early credibility in that community. In May 2022, he was hospitalized during a trip to South Korea, with Mizkif later revealing the reason behind the visit. His X bio mentions "building engine tech from the ground up," hinting at involvement in game engine technology. His TikTok content has included Diablo Immortal videos and a reference to "GO TO THE WORLD CUP." His Facebook bio includes the phrase "If you're gonna challenge the best in the world, you better be ready for anything!"

One of the most retold stories from his career is the PAX East incident in May 2019, when he and Mizkif were both banned from Twitch following an "inappropriate incident" at the convention. The specifics were never fully disclosed, but the ban became a cautionary tale about live streaming at public events. Another legendary moment is the Ashes of Creation pre-launch Q&A in December 2025, where he appeared alongside developer Steven Sharif, signaling his evolution from WoW roleplayer to a broader MMO commentator. His hosting of the first pro football draft show on Twitch in April 2023 remains a defining crossover achievement, bridging sports and streaming.[edit]

Esfand keeps his family life largely out of the public eye. He grew up in the United States, and his Persian surname reflects his Middle Eastern heritage, but he hasn't shared many details about his parents or siblings. He's never publicly discussed having a wife or children, and his social media focuses on gaming, business, and collaborations with fellow streamers rather than personal family matters. His household, if any, stays off-camera. [edit]

Esfand is closely associated with Mizkif, a fellow streamer he collaborated with at PAX East and who later revealed details about Esfand's hospital trip. He also works with Steven Sharif, lead developer of Ashes of Creation, in community events. As a co-founder of OTK, he's connected to other OTK members, though specific names aren't listed in the research. [edit]

Esfand has kept his romantic life almost entirely private. There are no confirmed public relationships documented in credible sources, and he hasn't been linked to any high-profile partners. Unlike many streamers who share relationship details, he focuses his social media on gaming, business, and collaborations. As of 2026, his relationship status is not publicly known; he hasn't confirmed being single, dating, or in a relationship. [edit]

iFANN currently estimates Esfand's net worth at $5 million as of 2026. His primary income sources include Twitch streaming revenue, YouTube ad revenue, and his Red Bull sponsorship. As a co-owner of OTK, he benefits from the organization's success, and his stakes in Starforge Systems, Mythic Talent, and Mad Mushroom add significant value. His business ventures have grown alongside his streaming career, and his net worth has climbed steadily in recent years, though exact figures are hard to pin down due to the private nature of his companies.[edit]

Esfand's most notable award is the Best Roleplay Streamer at the 2024 Streamer Awards, recognizing his work in GTA RP and other immersive roleplay games. This win highlighted his impact on the roleplay streaming genre and his popularity within that community. [edit]
