Before stepping into the squared circle, Meiko Satomura built an athletic foundation rooted in judo. She began training in the art at just three years old in 1982, showing early promise that led her to establish a women's judo club during junior high school in the 1990s. Her dominance in the sport was evident when she won the prefectural tournament, a feat that highlighted her strength and discipline even as a teenager. Despite this success in judo, she eventually shifted her focus entirely to professional wrestling, seeking a new challenge that would define her life.

Her entry into wrestling came through the tutelage of Chigusa Nagayo, a legend who instilled in her the traditional values of joshi puroresu. While the industry began shifting toward more entertainment-focused styles, Satomura remained committed to technical prowess and storytelling. She made her professional debut on April 15, 1995, against Sonoko Kato, marking the start of a journey that would see her become a pillar of the Sendai Girls promotion. This period was defined by her dedication to honing her craft and learning from the best in the business, setting the stage for her future legacy.[edit]

Satomura's career took off as she became a mainstay in Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling, a promotion she co-founded and later ran as its head promoter. This victory made her the first woman to hold the title, cementing her status as a global competitor. In February 2025, she wrestled her final singles match in the UK against Rhio, followed by her official retirement announcement. In April 2025, she announced her retirement plans, culminating in a final match at Korakuen Hall that celebrated her 30-year career.
