Kim Jong-pil

Kim Jong-pil stands as one of the most influential political figures in South Korean history, uniquely shaping the nation's trajectory through decades of change. He is the only person to influence the rise of three different presidents without holding the presidency himself, a feat that underscores his unparalleled political maneuvering skills. His founding of the KCIA created an institution that defined South Korean security policy for decades, leaving an indelible mark on the country's governance structure.
