Josef Koudelka

Koudelka's achievements in photography are extraordinary. He has won the Prix Nadar, the Grand Prix National de la Photographie, the Grand Prix Henri Cartier-Bresson, and the Hasselblad Foundation International Award, a feat few photographers have matched. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, the International Center of Photography, and the Palais de Tokyo, among others. His series on the Roma and the Soviet invasion of Prague are considered landmark contributions to documentary photography.
