Andrade's list of honors is short by modern standards, but each one carries historic weight. He was the first black player to win Olympic gold and the World Cup, achievements that were unthinkable for a black athlete in the 1920s. His inclusion in Pelé's FIFA 100 in 2004 recognized his lasting impact, and he is consistently ranked among the greatest South American players by historians and the IFFHS.
