Jin Yong's achievements are remarkable. His novels have sold over 100 million copies, making him one of the best-selling authors in history. He has been compared to J.R.R. Tolkien, and his works have been adapted into more than 100 films and TV series. He received the Grand Bauhinia Medal, Hong Kong's highest honour, and an OBE.
