    Jiang Wen's career is marked by a series of remarkable achievements. He is one of the few filmmakers to have won both the Golden Bear (for Red Sorghum as an actor) and the Grand Prix at Cannes (for Devils on the Doorstep as a director). His films have grossed over a billion yuan at the Chinese box office, and he has been a jury member at major international festivals. In 2025, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Beijing International Film Festival.
