Hori stands as a pivotal chapter in Brazilian pop history, particularly for launching the career of Fiuk. While they never achieved global recognition comparable to K-pop or Western boy bands, their impact on the Brazilian music scene in the 2000s was significant. The confusion in search results regarding 'Hori' is due to the dominance of the Japanese gaming company, but the musical group remains a respected part of Brazil's alternative rock heritage.

AwardsHori secured two major domestic awards during their peak years. They took home the prize for Best New Artist at the 2007 Prêmio Multishow de Música Brasileira, a significant recognition for a young band breaking into the national scene. Two years later, they won Best Band at the Prêmio Jovem Brasileiro, solidifying their status as the leading youth act of their time.
