Records
Frédéric Joliot-Curie's greatest accolade is the 1935 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, shared with his wife. He was also awarded the Hughes Medal, a Commander of the Legion of Honour, and the Croix de Guerre. He was elected to the French Academy of Sciences and numerous foreign academies. His wartime service was recognized with the Croix de Guerre.
