Fazlur Khan's accolades reflect a career that redefined structural engineering. He was among the first to use computer analysis for tall buildings, and his tubular designs made supertall construction practical. His honors include the ENR Man of the Year, the Wason Medal, and the Lloyd Kimbrough Medal. Posthumously, he was inducted into the Illinois Engineering Hall of Fame, and the CTBUH named an award after him.
