Dewey Short

Dewey Short's most enduring accolade is the naming of the Dewey Short Visitor Center at Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri. The center, opened on April 27, 2012, is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and stands on the bluffs of Table Rock Lake overlooking Table Rock Dam.
