Captain Nemo

Born Prince Dakkar, son of a Raja of Bundelkhand, India, Nemo was a brilliant and educated nobleman who opposed British colonial rule. After a failed uprising, his family was killed and his homeland subjugated. Consumed by grief and anger, he turned his back on the surface world, using his vast wealth and genius to build the Nautilus, a submarine far ahead of its time.
