Records
Rattín is celebrated as one of Boca Juniors' greatest idols, a one-club man who spent his entire 15-year career at the club. He helped Boca capture five major titles, including three league championships. His leadership on the pitch earned him the nickname El Caudillo. A statue of Rattín stands outside La Bombonera, and he is honored in the club's Hall of Fame. His controversial role in the 1966 World Cup made him a symbol of Argentina's footballing pride and grievance.
