Vasilevsky's strategic genius shaped the outcome of the Great Patriotic War. He was one of only two individuals to receive the Order of Victory twice, a distinction he shared with Joseph Stalin. His planning for Operation Uranus at Stalingrad and Operation Bagration in Belarus are studied in military academies worldwide. His legacy as a master of operational art remains unmatched in Soviet military history.
