Jeremy Mathieu on life after Barcelona

🥺💔 A STORY THAT MOVES EVERYONE. Jeremy Mathieu explained why, after being forced to retire from football, he ended up working in a sports store. A cruciate ligament injury in 2020 cut his career short. From then on, the former player fell into a deep depression and spent four years practically not leaving home. It was his wife who suggested he start working at Intersport, where he has already been for two years. An experience that has allowed him to recover his social life and, in his own words, "live again". The saddest part is that Mathieu had to come out to explain his situation because there were constantly people approaching him to ask if he had run out of money. We must remember that behind every footballer there is a person. Football is not everything and mental health matters. What joy to know that Jeremy is finding his way again. His story can help many people going through similar situations. ❤️💪
