John Malkovich Volpi Cup win

The Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the 83rd Venice Film Festival went to John Malkovich, recognized for his role in Martin McDonagh's WILD HORSE NINE. In that film, he portrays an aging CIA agent dispatched to Easter Island shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup. Critics have already flagged this performance as a major highlight of the movie, and the buzz is strong enough to generate early speculation about Oscar recognition. #JohnMalkovich
