@oldhollywoodcapThe Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the 83rd Venice Film Festival went to John Malkovich, recognized for his role in Martin McDonagh's WILD HORSE NINE. In that film, he portrays an aging CIA agent dispatched to Easter Island shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup. Critics have already flagged this performance as a major highlight of the movie, and the buzz is strong enough to generate early speculation about Oscar recognition. #JohnMalkovich

The focus is a close-up of an older man wearing a hat and a patterned tie. He is smiling and looking upwards, with an airplane visible in the background. The mood is candid and slightly retro, with the man's outfit featuring a distinctive mustard-yellow shirt and a dark jacket. The airplane's livery is partially visible, and there's a hint of a vehicle in the far background.
