Captain Mahoro joins FRN in Mwenga

@urdjakademiksWord out of Mwenga: a company commander from the GUร‰PARDS unit of the FARDC, Captain Mahoro, has switched sides. His troop of more than 50 soldiers joined the FRN movement with him. Before that he'd been sent to the Nzibira axis, tasked with backing the WAZALENDO for offensives. What he carried out the door: a big share of his company's weapons and gear, and a hefty chunk of cash that was supposed to cover his soldiers' pay. Courage ๐Ÿ’ช #Politics

    About this photo

The image is a diptych showing two poses of the same man. In the left panel, he is seated in a yellow chair outdoors, wearing a black jacket with a logo and black pants tucked into tall black boots. He holds a walking stick. Behind him, another man in a camouflage uniform and cap holds a rifle and a radio. The right panel shows the same man seated in a yellow chair, wearing a camouflage jacket, a white scarf, and tall black boots. He holds a walking stick and a radio. The setting appears to be a wooded or jungle area. The mood is serious and somewhat formal, despite the casual seating. The man's boots are particularly notable, as is the contrast between his attire and the outdoor environment. The logo on the jacket in the left panel reads "EKOLO".
