@freddenverBryan Cranston has released a written statement tonight declaring deep despair after announcing that RJ Mitte, his son from Breaking Bad, has died. The two exchanged text messages about lunch just weeks ago before the news broke. Cranston recalls meeting Mitte when he was only 14 years old at the time he was cast as Walter White Jr., a role he performed with such joy and enthusiasm. Despite being one of the stars on a hit TV show, he remained a kid. Born with cerebral palsy, he never allowed that challenge to be an excuse for anything. He met the demanding shooting schedule head on with great determination. Cranston closes by saying he will miss him, calling him son.
