About this photo
This is a stylized map of North America with altered borders and place names. The focus is on a fictional geopolitical division of the continent, with areas labeled "New Prussia," "Japonica," "Austriana," "Province of Mexico," "Turconia," and "Barbarians" in the north. The map has a vintage, historical aesthetic. A notable detail is the "American Reservation" in what appears to be Texas, and the "Gulf of Hate" and "Straits of Horror" add to the dramatic and speculative nature of the map.
