Larry Holmes on Ali vs Usyk
Photo by @yamanaka· Jul 2, 2026· Muhammad Ali
About this photo
Two shirtless boxers face off in the ring. Muhammad Ali on the left throws a straight right hand that lands on the jaw of Oleksandr Usyk on the right. Usyk grimaces with mouth open and eyes squinted, his yellow-and-blue gloves raised defensively. The background shows a blurred crowd and photographers behind the ropes. Large white text at the top reads “BOXINGSCENE,” and a red quote box at the bottom displays the quote “Ali would come in there and do what he had trained to do, so I’m not sure Usyk would be able to handle him. He would lose from Round 1 on,” credited to “Larry Holmes via Canada Casino.”
