Records
Tielemans has earned several major individual honours. He won the Belgian Golden Shoe in 2017, an award voted by journalists and former players for the best Belgian footballer of the year. He is also the youngest Belgian to ever play in the UEFA Champions League, a record set in 2013 that remains unbroken. In 2021, he was named Man of the Match in the FA Cup final after scoring a stunning long-range winner. His leadership was recognized in 2024 when he was appointed captain of the Belgium national team.
