Yosuke Sugino

Yosuke Sugino is a Japanese actor and model. He has built a steady screen career across film and television, with credits in more than 30 films and dozens of TV dramas. Western viewers are most likely to know him from the 2021 live-action Tokyo Revengers film and the comedy drama Ossan's Love.

At 31, Sugino works steadily rather than chasing a single breakout. He moves between teen romance, comedy, and action, and his 185 cm frame has made him a natural fit for the modeling side of his career. His agency, Topcoat Group, keeps a regular short-form video series running under his name, which gives fans a steady drip of content between projects. He is not yet a household name outside Japan, but within the Japanese drama and film world he is a familiar, reliably cast presence. [edit]

Yosuke Sugino was born on September 18, 1995, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The record on his childhood is thin. What is documented is the moment that set everything in motion: he won the Grand Prix at the 12th Fine Boys Model Audition, a contest run by the men's fashion magazine Fine Boys. That win is the launchpad cited across Japanese and English sources for both his modeling work and his eventual move into acting.

Winning a magazine audition is a specific kind of door in Japan. It puts a young model in front of stylists, photographers, and agency scouts, and Topcoat Group eventually signed him. Before that, he was a teenager from Chiba with a tall frame and no screen credits. Detailed information about his family, schooling, and early interests is not publicly available, which is common for Japanese talents who keep their private lives private. The audition remains the clearest pre-fame marker: a contest win that turned a magazine face into a name agencies wanted to represent. [edit]

Sugino's screen career took shape through a string of film and television roles. In 2019 he appeared in My Girlfriend Is a Serial Killer, a genre film that put him in a darker register than the modeling work that preceded it. The bigger visibility came in 2021 with the live-action Tokyo Revengers, an adaptation of the hugely popular manga, which introduced him to a much wider and younger audience.

Television has been just as important. He is a regular in the drama space, with Ossan's Love among his better-known series credits, and he has appeared in Rainbow Days on the film side. The breadth matters: he has worked across teen romance, comedy, and action rather than being boxed into one genre. Topcoat Group keeps him visible between projects through its official YouTube channel, which runs a short-form series titled [Sugi no title] and The next title. That kind of agency-backed content is a modern part of a Japanese actor's career, keeping the fanbase warm while the next drama or film is in production. [edit]

Sugino's public image is built on the model-turned-actor template: tall, clean-cut, and versatile. At 185 cm he cuts a distinctive figure in Japanese drama casting, and his Fine Boys background gives him a fashion-adjacent credibility that agencies lean into. Media framing tends to emphasize his modeling origins and his steady output rather than any single breakout role.

On screen he moves easily between the earnest teen-romance register and broader comedy, and his agency's short-form video content presents him as approachable and a little goofy, a contrast to the polished magazine image. His social media presence is managed and low-key rather than personality-driven. The overall impression is of a working actor who lets the credits do the talking. [edit]

iFANN has not yet collected fame data for Yosuke Sugino, so there is no published ranking to point to as of October 2026. He is also not on the September 2026 iFAMOUS Rankings flagship list. That absence fits his profile: he is a steady working actor in Japan rather than a globally tracked celebrity, and his recognition is concentrated in Japanese drama and film audiences.

The fanbase around him has no formal name, and there is no documented fan organization or campaign history. What exists is informal: viewers who follow his drama and film credits, plus a smaller international contingent who found him through Tokyo Revengers and keep up with his agency's YouTube shorts. His agency's [Sugi no title] series functions as a low-key fan touchpoint, giving followers regular short videos between projects. Search interest clusters around practical questions like his height and relationship status rather than organized fandom activity. [edit]

Sugino has spoken publicly about living alone for the first time and gaining 10 kg in the process, a detail that has circulated among fans as a lighthearted window into his off-screen life. In another agency video, he was featured in a segment about finding the perfect spot to watch the sunset, framed as a "true romantic" moment.

He stands 185 cm, which places him well above the average height for Japanese actors and has been a recurring talking point in fan searches. His Instagram handle is @sugino__yosuke, and his agency also promotes him through X at @suginoofficial. Fans searching for him often type "Yosuke Sugino wife" or "Yosuke Sugino girlfriend," a sign that his private life draws curiosity even though he has never publicly confirmed a partner. [edit]

Very little about Sugino's family is publicly documented. He was born and raised in Chiba Prefecture, and his parents and any siblings have not been named in reliable sources. He has spoken about living alone for the first time as an adult, which suggests a move out of the family home, but he has not shared details about his household or upbringing. He does not have a publicly confirmed spouse or children. For a Japanese actor represented by Topcoat Group, this level of privacy around family is typical and appears to be a deliberate choice rather than an accident of coverage. [edit]

Sugino's career is tied to Topcoat Group, the agency that represents him and produces his promotional video content. On screen he is associated with the casts of Tokyo Revengers (2021), My Girlfriend Is a Serial Killer (2019), Ossan's Love, and Rainbow Days. His modeling roots connect him to Fine Boys magazine and its audition pipeline. [edit]

No public romantic relationship is documented for Yosuke Sugino. Despite heavy search interest, with queries like "Yosuke Sugino wife" and "Yosuke Sugino girlfriend" appearing among the top related searches, no credible outlet has confirmed a partner, engagement, or marriage. Third-party YouTube videos claiming to reveal his girlfriend or net worth are unverified content-farm material and should not be treated as evidence.

As of 2026, the accurate description is that he has no publicly confirmed partner. He may be single or simply private; the public record does not distinguish between the two. Fans should treat any specific claim about his dating life with caution until he or his agency confirms it. [edit]

There is no credible published net worth figure for Yosuke Sugino. The only number circulating online comes from unverified YouTube lifestyle videos, which are not a reliable source for a working Japanese actor's finances. iFANN's editorial team has not been able to establish a figure from reliable reporting, so any estimate should be treated as a rough placeholder rather than a researched number.

What can be said is how actors at his level earn. Japanese screen actors are typically paid per project, with drama series and film roles forming the core income, supplemented by modeling work and agency-arranged appearances. Sugino's Fine Boys background and his ongoing relationship with Topcoat Group suggest a modeling income stream alongside acting. Endorsements and brand work are common for actors with his profile, though none are confirmed in the available record. As of 2026, his earnings are best understood as steady project-based income rather than the kind of fortune that comes from a single global franchise. [edit]
