Yogi Adityanath

Yogi Adityanath, born Ajay Mohan Singh Bisht on June 5, 1972, in the small village of Panchur, is an Indian Hindu monk and politician who has served as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh since 2017. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he is the state's longest-serving chief minister and the first to hold the office for two consecutive terms. Before entering state politics, Adityanath spent nearly two decades in India's parliament, from 1998 to 2017.
