Yes, And?

January 12, 2024 marked Ariana Grande's return to the spotlight with Yes, And?, a house-infused pop anthem serving as the lead single for her sixth studio album, Eternal Sunshine. The track blends upbeat rhythms with ballroom culture nods while delivering lyrics about self-assurance and shielding one's peace from public scrutiny. Grande co-wrote and co-produced the song alongside Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh, creating a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.

The song launched at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming Grande's eighth chart-topper and her sixth debut in the top spot. It reached number one in eleven other countries and climbed into the top ten across twenty-eight more. A remix featuring Mariah Carey later joined the release, adding significant star power to the track's legacy. The accompanying music video, directed by Christian Breslauer, visually emphasized themes of confidence through stylized performance settings. [edit]
