Yeo Jia Min has carved out a unique place in Singaporean badminton history. She became the first Singaporean, junior or senior, to top the BWF world ranking system, a feat that put her country on the global badminton map. Her two BWF World Tour titles and her qualification for the World Tour Finals were also firsts for Singapore. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she broke a 12-year drought by reaching the knockout stage, inspiring a new generation of players.
