Lendeborg's 2026 season was historic. He became Michigan's first Big Ten Player of the Year in 13 years and led the Wolverines to a 37-3 record, the best in program history. His consensus All-American selection placed him among the elite in college basketball. He also set a standard for versatility, being the only player in the Big Ten to average at least 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1 block per game in 2026.

AwardsLendeborg won a national championship with Michigan in 2026 and was named Big Ten Player of the Year. He earned consensus first-team All-American honors from the AP, NABC, USBWA, CBS Sports, and Sporting News. He was also a two-time American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and the conference tournament MVP in 2024.
