Xie Qiuping

Xie Qiuping, born around 1960 in the People's Republic of China, holds the title for the longest hair on Earth. Her journey began in 1973 when she was just 13 years old and decided to let her locks grow without cutting them. By May 8, 2004, officials measured her hair at an astonishing 5.627 meters, or roughly 18 feet and 5.5 inches. This feat secured her spot in the Guinness World Records book for 2018, cementing her status as a unique figure in global records. She continues to live in China where her daily routine involves extensive care for her massive mane.[edit]
